In 2011, ProProcure formed a partnership with SABMiller plc on their Global Brands PoS.
SABMiller is one of the world’s largest brewers with interests and distribution agreements across 75 countries in six continents. As such they need to implement a wide range of PoS materials to support their brands around the globe, and chose ProProcure to provide a complete spend management solution, including supply chain management.
As Global Brands PoS partner we work alongside the SABMiller Global Brand teams and their agencies. Our brief is to help identify, develop, market and then distribute the core ranges of PoS marketing collateral for Pilsner Urquell, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Miller Genuine Draft and Grolsch. All PoS materials are made available to the SABMiller teams through an e-procurement web-shop designed, built and hosted by us on our Geneus platform.
One of our first end-user initiatives was to launch SABMiller’s first series of online Global Brands PoS Buying Events. These events have the key objective of ensuring brand consistency in local markets as well as price reductions via aggregation of volumes to drive economies of scale. The first events were deemed a great success with positive user feedback and price reductions of up to 46%. Now regular events take place every 3-4 months, with 44 of the SABMiller markets reached so far.
